This recording is a structured improvisation in the realm of Persian traditional music and electronic music. Its a mixture of virtuosic violin playing and highly complex live electronic processing. What has been attempted here is to produce a work in which electronics and the computer play important structural roles without any demand for substantial deviation from the Persian traditional musical form. The work speaks of a musical journey in which seemingly separate worlds reach into one another, complementing and challenging one another, without forgetting their own identity or violating the identity of the other.
